An Episodic Life
The breadbasket of Cepilos. Fertile, well-watered farms cover the peninsula – the weather mages of Cepilos and priests of Pelor help to ensure that crop yields are always high in this region. The western littoral is prone to flooding, but a comprehensive irrigation system and the intervention of magic-users keep things under control.
When the Cepilotians first started cautiously venturing beyond the city walls, this region was littered with corpses and the devastated remnants of pre-ragnarok civilisation. Several hundred years later, there is little sign of the apocalypse here now, although occasionally a farmer will turn up a bone or some other morbid vestige. Such artefacts can be worth a fortune to Cepilotian historians looking for subjects for speak with dead rituals, or to necromancers with an antiquarian interest.
